The Lake Huron Lakewide Action and Management Plan (LAMP) is a binational ecosystem-based strategy for protecting and restoring the water quality of Lake Huron, including the St. Marys River. This 2020 Annual Report highlights accomplishments and progress during the past year including outreach, monitoring, and protection and restoration actions. The LAMP is developed and implemented by the Lake Huron Partnership, which is led by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Environment and Climate Change Canada and which facilitates information sharing, sets priorities, and assists in coordinating binational environmental protection and restoration activities. The Lake Huron LAMP was released in April 2018 with implementation currently underway. The 2022-2026 Lake Huron LAMP is currently being drafted.
