The governments of Canada and the United States have published a draft Lake Superior Lakewide Action and Management Plan developed by the Lake Superior Partnership that documents ecosystem conditions, threats and proposed priority actions under the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement. The governments sought public comments on the draft report until January 29, 2016.  The draft report is a product of extensive collaboration among experts in a variety of subject areas and summarizes current knowledge on Lake Superior.
