The Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement commits Canada and the United States to prepare and issue Binational Strategies to reduce the release and impact of Chemicals of Mutual Concern. The Great Lakes Binational Strategy for Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDEs) Risk Management will be used as guidance by the Governments of Canada and the United States with their partners to identify, prioritize, and implement actions to reduce PBDEs in the Great Lakes region.
