The Lake Huron Lakewide Action and Management Plan (LAMP) is a binational ecosystem-based strategy for protecting and restoring the water quality of Lake Huron, including the St. Marys River. This 2021 Annual Report highlights accomplishments and progress during the past year including outreach, monitoring, and protection and restoration actions. The LAMP is developed and implemented by the Lake Huron Partnership, which is led by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Environment and Climate Change Canada and which facilitates information sharing, sets priorities, and assists in coordinating binational environmental protection and restoration activities. The 2017-2021 Lake Huron LAMP was released in April 2018 and is in its final year of implementation. The 2022-2026 Lake Huron LAMP is currently being drafted and is scheduled to be released in 2022.
