Canada and the United States are pleased to release the second Progress Report of the Parties, pursuant to the 2012 Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement (GLWQA).
The 2019 Progress Report of the Parties documents the binational and domestic activities and accomplishments of Canada and the United States in implementing the 2012 GLWQA over 2017 to 2019.
The Report documents the significant accomplishments achieved through the cooperation of many partners on both sides of the border. These efforts will be discussed at the 2019 Great Lakes Public Forum.
Pursuant to the GLWQA, the International Joint Commission is tasked with summarizing public input on the Progress Report of the Parties. To this end, the Commission will be hosting a Public Roundtable on Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement Progress at the 2019 Great Lakes Public Forum.
