The Lake Huron Binational Partnership was formed in 2002 to coordinate actions to help restore and protect the Lake Huron ecosystem. The 2014 annual report highlights accomplishments and progress towards achieving ecosystem restoration and protection, and outlines planned activities including outreach and monitoring as well as additional protection and restoration actions. The Binational Partnership is led by Environment Canada and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, with participation from federal, provincial, tribal, state and local governments or agencies, and with input from non-government stakeholders and the public.
