State of the Lakes Ecosystem Conference 2004
The State of the
Lakes Ecosystem Conferences (SOLEC) assesses the conditions of the
Great Lakes ecosystem and progress towards the goals established in the
binational Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement (GLWQA). Environmental
indicators, tools to monitor change over time, are examined and presented
every two years at this conference to monitor the chemical, physical and
biological integrity of the Great Lakes basin ecosystem. This year's
conference will focus on indicators describing the physical
state of the Great Lakes.
Registration information
will be made available at a later date.
